The fifth painting is an interpreation of the tarot card in the major arcana 'The Moon' 30cm x 60cm. It is based on the greek myth of the three headed goddess of the underworld 'Hecete'. The card represents a progression in deepening understanding of the world of the unconscious.. Lunar phases embody the femine principle that controls water and where all life begins.
The last painting is entitled 'Blue mountains' 100cm x 80cm. Just as I was completing it a good friend of mine let me know she had just come from there as she is travelling..the teepees represent our duality and the fire breathes life into the stark reality of a nomadic life.
